1:30 a.m.

its like a strange kind of programming that finds me awake at an hour when most people will have already been asleep for several hours.

i'm actually very tired now, so promise to keep it short and sweet - brevity and me aren't well acquainted. perhaps we may meet tonight?

yeah, i'm not feelin' so bloggy lately, and that's not so bad. . been a busy week. busy's good. doing some kitchen renos. .nothing's being destroyed other than some fruity-looking wall paper and lace curtains! cupboards etc are remaining - just getting a fresh coat or two of paint. we're officially on holiday time now, so that's so great. . gonna celebrate by sleeping in 2morrow!!!*i mean today!* this is an 'open-ended' type of week. . no plans other than 2 day trips to http://www.saintemarieamongthehurons.on.ca/english/ and http://www.rom.on.ca/index.php. We're taking Linds and the kiddies! mom too! I think even KK might want to come along to the ROM? So, those are 2 good things to do!! can't wait. might snap a few good pix! other than that we'll do whatever we want! KK's working all week. . poor girl!

anyway, that's all she wrote, for this moment in time anyway! must sleep. . .

You've reminded me that I need to make up a list of things I want to do and places I want to take Miles before I have to go back to work!

Enjoy your day-trips, and don't forget to check in with us! ;)

thanx Tracy! I won't forget to check in. I've been funny lately, just haven't felt much like blogging. So, yeah, make your list!

as for museums and countries deciding . .i know there's a 'rotation' in which exhibits rotate through the countries for 'x' amount of time. . i'm not sure about permanent exhibits, how these items are procured. . sale of some sort i suppose. museums prob have purchasers who just do that. what an interesting job, eh?!

Thanx, bud! we're going to Ste. Marie on Wednesday! the museum may have to wait till next weekend? we'll just roll with it. . whatever we feel like. we love museums. . . all kinds, esp. aviation ones!!! its so nice not working today! i'm reading a new book (Angels and Demons - prequel to DaVini Code). . good stuff so far. . i'm only a few chapters in. Rob's outside trying to fix a 'whipper snipper' that a friend gave him. .said "if you can fix it, you can keep it!" Rob's always up for a mechanical challenge. . the guy's genius when it comes to how things work. so he's happy out there on the deck tinkering away. . in the friggin' humidity. blah!
